Pop-a-Wheelie

Gymnasts gathered Thursday on the State Capitol lawn in Saint Paul, where they set a world record for the most cartwheels preformed at one time. The event was a kick-off of the 2006 Visa Championships to be held in Saint Paul Aug 16-19. The University Men's and Women's gymnastics teams helped organize the event and proceeds benefited the Children's Miracle Network.

Protest

Kamal Wazwaz, 9, holds a sign in objection to U.S. aid to Israel at a protest Thursday in downtown Minneapolis. The protest was held to oppose Israeli aggression toward Palestine and Lebannon.
