Sacks, turnovers key for Gophers' defense

Gymnasts gathered Thursday on the State Capitol lawn in Saint Paul, where they set a world record for the most cartwheels preformed at one time. The event was a kick-off of the 2006 Visa Championships to be held in Saint Paul Aug 16-19. The University Men's and Women's gymnastics teams helped organize the event and proceeds benefited the Children's Miracle Network.

Spectators gather to explore outer space

The presentation was part of the “University in the Park” program and also provided a chance for attendees to look through University astronomy department telescopes.
