Beaufort, SC-- March 14, 2006-- Tide pools gather at low tide revealing oyster-beads and the marsh mud of the South Carolina Low Country. The people who live there define this region by the many marsh lands that surround the coast of the state. What to some may seem to be only hills of mud and swamp like grass is regarded for its beauty by the people of the low country.
